into account any applicable discounts, special rates. Consult a rate book occasionally to determine shipping costs of full truck loads, or per pallet, for example.
Review all necessary information, compute the charges using computer. Then prepare itemized invoices used for billing and recordkeeping purposes.
Specialized billing software calculate charges and prepare bills in one step. Computer packages prompt to enter data from hand-written forms and manipulate the necessary entries of quantities, labor, rates, and discounts to be
charged. Verify the entry of information and check for errors before the computer prints the bill. |
